“Kat” earned her AKC CD in obedience at 17 months.
She was awarded her AKC Championship with 3 majors, winning 1 Best of Breed, 1 Best of Winners, and 5 Best of Opposite Sex.
She was awarded her NSDTR Club Championship in September of 2004. Kat earned her Canadian Working Certificate and her Hunting Retriever Club Started titles in September of 2005. She is now eligible to be awarded the NSDTRC Versatility Certificate.
Kat whelped her first litter on June 1, 2004, whelping five very fat and healthy puppies. Pups from this litter have so far earned field Working Certificates in both the U.S. and Canada.
Kat whelped her second litter July 11, 2006, with 5 females we call “Manitou’s 5 Sisters”.
We really enjoy her drive to retrieve and love of water. She is extremely excited to go hunting for real. Kat has a big heart to please. Most of all, Kat loves to toll.
She is our first Toller and we are very proud of her accomplishments. Kat, as well as our other dogs, has been exclusively owner trained and handled.
Kat recently earned her US WC at the 2006 National Specialty, completing her requirements for an upcoming “Rusty Jones Award” recognition.
